Mules from across the United States will come together for one exceptional two-day event in Missouri, Milam Mules Select Mule Sale.

This is not just a sale of Milam Mules. We are opening the doors to select consignments from mule owners and sellers across the country. Milam Mules has buyers and sellers reaching far beyond the United States, but we believe Missouri is the perfect place to bring this kind of event home.

Why Missouri? Because this is the State of the Mule.

Some of the finest mules in the country come from right here in the Midwest. Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, and the surrounding states have long been home to outstanding mule breeders, trainers, trail riders, and mule enthusiasts. Hosting this sale here just makes sense.

Last Year Was Bigger Than We Imagined.

Last year's sale brought buyers from nearly all 50 states, along with buyers from outside the United States. Sellers traveled in from places as far away as Colorado and New Mexico, with strong representation from our neighboring and surrounding states, including Illinois, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

The arena was packed and the response exceeded anything we could have anticipated.

So this year, we're making it even better.

We're bringing back the sale you loved with several upgrades designed to make the experience better for both buyers and sellers, including improvements to online bidding and virtual viewing.

50 MULES. THAT'S IT.

This sale is designed specifically for trail riders, outfitters, working mule owners, and serious buyers who spend quality time with their mules and want to purchase something they can trust.

Not every mule will make the sale.

This is a SELECT sale.

Every consignment will be reviewed and pre-vetted. We are looking for quality, soundness, usability, and mules that deserve a place in a sale of this caliber.

Only 50 mules will be accepted.

Once we're full, we're full.

CONSIGNMENT OPENS OCTOBER 1, 2026

Consignment opens October 1, 2026 and will remain open until all 50 spots are filled.

Catalog deadline: January 10, 2027

However, the sooner you consign, the better.

To be included in the sale, we must receive a photo and video of your mule, along with your completed and paid consignment.

Photo and video are mandatory. No exceptions.

We require this information for a reason: it protects you, the seller, and it gives buyers the information they need to make an informed decision.

BUYER & SALE INFORMATION

We are changing a few things up this year to make the sale experience even better.

• ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

• Once you leave the sale with your mule, the mule is yours.

• Buyers are responsible for their purchase once the mule leaves the sale.

• Milam Mules is not responsible or liable for the mule after the sale.

• A veterinarian will be on-site during the event to assist with evaluations and provide an additional resource for buyers and sellers.
